The previous China Resources Oil Depot was demolished and redeveloped into the large-scale private housing estate “Villa Esplanada” in between 1998 and 2001. The development totals a gross area of over 2,000,000 sq.ft. with nearly 3,000 residential units that were later sold successfully in 3 phases.
